Welcome to Pre-K!
We are excited to start the new school year!

Students will continue to go outside for recess as long as the weather permits.
Please dress your child appropriately for outside play.

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a wonderful vacation.

As we begin a new year, the children will be learning how winter affects animals and the way they live.

The children will be making snowmen, snowflakes, penguins, and some other winter crafts.

This month we have started to do the rhythm band.  Children have expanded their use of the instruments to include the triangle, drums, and cymbals.  We are learning how to play Skip to My Lou, Swanee River, and Little Brown Jug.

We will learn how Martin Luther King Jr. worked hard to change laws that were not fair.  God loves everyone regardless of our appearance.

Children will need the following:
-A regular size backpack for papers and projects

-Immunization records for the health office

-An extra set of clothes (to be kept at school) in a zip-lock bag labeled
with your child's name

To enroll in Pre-K, a child must be three or four years of age by December 1st of the current year.
A baptismal certificate must be presented for all Catholic children.  Non-Catholic children must present a birth certificate.
Your child's record of immunization must meet New York Standards.
