I am so excited to be embarking on my 21st year at St.Dominic Elementary School.

 

I am currently teaching Middle School ELA, Social Social Studies and 8th grade Religion. The classes prepare them for their high school career. 

I also enjoy preparing the 8th grade for the sacrament of Confirmation and their graduation. 

 

My grandfather was a principal in Croatia and listening to his stories sparked my interest in Education.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in History and Secondary Education at St. John's University. I continued, on full scholarship, at St. John's and received my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist.

As you can see, I have a strong background in my Catholic faith and decided to give back by teaching in the Catholic school system.

Previously, I worked at St. Joseph's Elementary School for 15 years, teaching Middle School ELA, Social Studies and Religion.

My interests extend to traveling, hiking, boating and reading. I am also fluent in the Croatian Language.
